The red deer hunt is exciting in Hungary…

I promised to introduce the Naturhun team and my Owner in my previous blog, but the beginning of the autumn hunting season turned everything upside down. I hope my dear colleagues will forgive me if I do the introduction at a later time and write about something that will definitely brighten up your day this time.

The end of summer and the start of the autumn always makes me feel very excited as it marks the beginning of an incredible season. Not that summer is ever boring! I worked throughout the hot summer days this year; I retrieved uncountable number of doves from the sunflower plants, I splashed into fish ponds for ducks and I can’t even tell you how many times my heart pounded when we were waiting for the buck in the wheat filed with my Master at the roe calling. I will tell you about this some time, but let’s get to the point already!

Autumn is here….with its fresh and misty mornings, incredible scents, colours and exciting hunts; the big game hunts starting with red deer and then the fallow deer hunts….what can I say? This is the highlight of the year.

This year was special. I can’t even find the words… you know what? I won’t even try, I will let the photos speak for themselves and I will introduce the team next time.

One of our regular guests bagged a red deer with a 24 pointer trophy on the 3rd of September.

Not even a week had gone by and this was the fruit of their early morning stalking…The red deer stag with a special trophy was brought down in the Zala Hills by one of our own guests as well.

I don’t think I need to present much more proof that red stag hunting is one of the most wonderful experiences in Hungary. Not something you should miss out on, is it?
